Let the bicycle ride begin. Not that I’m thrilled with the weather. It is foggy, windy and cold. Basically this is July weather. Should I be afraid of July weather.

Rode out to Albany and boy this was a mistake. Road work on Marin and streets are closed. Cars being detoured to Solano Ave. This is nuts. I always try to avoid construction work. Have a feeling this summer is going to be nothing but construction work.

Think I will stop for a burger at Al’s Big Burger. A Bacon, mushroom and swiss cheese burger is sounding good. Plus it gets me out of the cold.

Decided to stop by the San Pablo Library to get some reading in and a rest before the last pedal home. Got my comfortable chair and it is quiet so I’m good.

Made it home. Not too bad for a ride running into and avoiding road construction.
