Woke up this morning I had a bicycle ride to Muir Woods on my mind. I may regret this ride, but I’m going to do it any way.
I love the coast down to Muir Woods, but not too happy thinking about the pedal up on the way back. It is going to be brutal.
Take a nice break before the pedal up. One thing I like about Redwood trees is it is really cool under them. Nature’s air conditioner.
Time for the pedal up. At least there is a small parking cutout so I will take a little break. I’m not a fan of climbing. I am slow but I’m steady.
The ride up this hill is brutal. My legs are really feeling it. I am not a hill climber, but I will slowly make it up the hill. I knew after this I know it is a great coast into Mill Valley.
I am loving the coast down. I don’t have to worry about cars passing me because I’m able to keep up with the cars. So cool to ride behind a car. Feels like I have a motor. The pain of a climb is worth the coast down.
I have been treating my bicycle rides on Saturday to play tourist. Spent six hours in the saddle.
