Bicycle Ride to China Camp

Finally decided to take a bicycle ride to China Camp. Been wanting to do this ride for a while and today is the day.

There are a lot of group riders on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge today. It goes in waves.

At least most of the riding is on bicycle paths. Nice to be out of traffic. It is more relaxing. I don’t have to be on high alert.

The bicycle path along 101.

I don’t know why I thought this was going to be a flat ride, but I was wrong. Plenty of climbs to give my legs a good workout.

Made it to China Camp.

I enjoyed the bicycle ride to China Camp. Nice place to rest and relax. Got some reading in and enjoyed my snacks.

Off to Tiburon

It is overcast out and that means perfect bicycle riding weather. So I guess I will ride to Tiburon.

At least the RSR Bridge bicycle lane is empty. I like the quiet riding. Sometimes starting early works in my favor.

I see the to Tiburon sign but I decide not to turn right, but keep going straight. This could be a bad decision. But won’t be the first and I like a good adventure.

There a lot of climbs and some good downhills, but not too bad.

There is a park called Paradise Park. I will have to check it out one day. Don’t have time to stop and take a peak.

This route isn’t bad. It is the back way into downtown Tiburon. Think I will use this route.

The view of the Golden Gate Bridge from Tiburon. Nice view and a great place to relax.

Pelicans are out in full force.

Think I will take the same route back and stop at Paradise Park. Not a bad park. A lot of picnic tables and a fishing pier.

This was a fun ride. Will have to do it again one day.
