Rainy Days

The rain has decided to visit and it isn’t nice. Making up for the dry spell.

Since I don’t like riding a bicycle in the rain it means time for walking. I don’t mind walking in the rain.

If it isn’t raining when I leave I will hop on the bicycle and take my chances. If I’m caught in the rain that is okay. I won’t start in the rain.

I like how this picture turned out. The bird has a nice strut going.
Looking for a snack.

I don’t mind rain, but not every day. Some spots have horrible drainage.

Friday the rain stopped for a minute and I went on a bicycle ride. The water in some parts of the bike/walk path were big and deep. Really had to take it slow. Good thing I have fenders on my bicycle.

It is fun to watch a bicyclist with no fenders going through one of the large puddles. Especially if they are going to fast. The water stripe on the back can be pretty thick.

Fun to watch a walker try to go around it by walking through the grass and their feet just sinks. Just because the ground looks solid, it isn’t. Sometimes one has to know when to turn around.

Looks like Monday the rain is going to take a break. Means an after work bicycle ride. Get to check the damage.

Sometimes being in a drought isn’t a bad thing. But it seems that it either rains in bunches or doesn’t rain at all.

Wandering Thoughts

Taken with my Pentax K-70 with 28mm Pentax vintage lens. Turkeys walked so close to me I could of petted them.

Got off work and stopped in Albany to go to my favorite sushi spot and got a bento box.

Stopped to get my Mega. The only time I play if it is over one hundred million. Don’t have any luck with Mega and I don’t like paying $2 per ticket. But who knows.

BART says their employees must be vaccinated by 13 December. Rumor has it no one in Central, the people who keep BART trains running, are not vaccinated. If they stay the course are BART trains going to run on 14 December. Stay tuned.

Oori Rice Triangles is one of my favorite places to go. The spicy pork triangles is my favorite. Pork and rice wrapped in seaweed. Last time I went you had to order on a ipad and swipe you credit or debit card. No cash.

My dad gave me a Kodak Retina 1a camera that he had since 1954. I never saw him use it while growing up. When he found out I was shooting film he gave it to me.

Basically it is like a new camera. It is one of my favorite camera to use. Pictures come out pretty good. Though I’m not that great of a photographer.

Right now I’m using my Pentax K1000 film camera. I’m using my last roll of black and white film. Need to take it on my bicycle ride on Saturday. If I can get up early I will ride out to Mill Valley.

So life is on hold until Saturday.
