Time for a Thanksgiving bicycle ride and I have nice weather to ride in. Hard to believe it is November. So time to pedal on.
Break at Bayfront Park
A bunch of kids were out riding bikes under aldult supervision. Of course they were riding in the streets and popping wheelies.
An old guy saw me and I guess he had to vent. Why not to a guy on a bicycle. He had to slam on his breaks when he was driving because the kids were all over the place.
He complained to one of the adults, but they guy did not want to hear it.
After the old guy vented we started talking about different types of bicycles and riders. So it wasn’t a bad conversation in the end.
He was flying his Mavic mini drone. Good day for it.
Still in lockdown and instead of going forward to get out of lockdown we are going backwards.
My life was built for a lockdown. I have been social distancing all my life. I enjoy bicycle riding and hiking. Get away from the people.
More people have started to bicycle ride and during the summer they were everywhere. But the cooler weather has slowed a lot of them down.
Then there are the people who put their bicycles on their vehicles and drive to where they want to ride. Which is fine and easy to avoid them.
Wearing a mask doesn’t bother me. I have been wearing a Buff over my mouth for years when bicycling and covering my neck when hiking. So what if I have to wear a mask when I enter a business.
I get why a business makes a person wear a mask. If an employee gets Covid-19 and no mask policy was in place then the lawsuits begin.
I admit I do miss the libraries being open. One of the best places to take a break and get some reading in. Gets me out of the heat or cold. Anyway to me a library is like a temple.
So far I have avoided the layoffs. Rumors are always flying that the layoffs are coming, but they never do. I think some people are there to just spread rumors or get off on fear-mongering. Some sick people out there.
Even with all the chaos I’m doing good. Always best to avoid the chaos and enjoy life.
