I have had cookie for little over a year. When I got her all she did was sit in her cage and not make a sound. The people who had her kept her in her cage and she seemed content.
Now when she wakes up she tweets to let everyone know she is up. Take the cover off her room and she whistles while she is brought to her spot to look out the window.
Then the tweeting sound increases until she gets her toast and lettuce. After munching a bit she chirps to go outside and sit on the deck and listen to her radio. She also must enjoy having the breeze going through her feathers.
She also likes her morning and afternoon time out of her room. Then there are the neck and head rubs. When she has had enough of being touched she will take a lit nip at the finger. When she has had enough time out of her room she will just go into her room.
She has a great inner clock. At 4pm she squawks to watch tv. Then at 7pm she begins to whistle that it is time for her to go to bed.
She is my buddy.
